By creating an account or using Hourglass, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Hourglass is

Hourglass is a reminder and tracking tool. It shows deadlines related to SAM.gov registration renewal, SDVOSB/VOSB recertification and material-change reporting, and can email you before they arrive.

Not legal or compliance advice

Hourglass is informational only. It does not provide legal, accounting or regulatory advice, and nothing here is a substitute for guidance from the relevant agency or a qualified professional. Deadlines are calculated from SAM.gov data and from dates you enter, using general rules such as a three-year recertification cycle and a 30-day reporting window. Those rules and your specific situation may differ.

You are responsible for your deadlines

Data from SAM.gov may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, our calculations may contain errors, and email can fail or be filtered. You are responsible for confirming every deadline with the official source, and for renewing your registration and meeting your reporting obligations on time. Do not rely on Hourglass as your only reminder.

Independent of the government

Hourglass is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by SAM.gov, the General Services Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Small Business Administration. We do not access or change your SAM.gov registration or certification.

Your account

Keep your password secure and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract and be authorized to track any company you add.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Don't use automated tools to scrape the service or bypass its rate limits.
• Don't use Hourglass for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or remove access if these rules are broken.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hourglass and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost contracts, lost revenue or lost registration or certification status, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including a missed or incorrect deadline. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Changes and ending the service

We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Hourglass at any time.
